When you give this gift card, with its unique serial number, you have planted (and managed for its lifetime) one native tree in a dedicated 'gift tree' woodland scheme of 10 000 trees.

Where is this woodland?
It's at Crairieknowe in Dumfriesshire, just to the west of the A76 between Enterkinfoot and Sanquhar (i.e. between Dumfries and Kilmarnock).

What sort of trees?
Silver Birch, Downy Birch, Sessile Oak , Ash, Rowan, Sycamore, Alder, Willow , Pedunculate Oak, Wild Cherry, Larch, Scots Pine and woody shrubs. To enhance the health and effectiveness of the woodland we include a very low percentage of useful naturalised trees such as the Western Hemlock which can live for 1200 years.

Who wants a random tree in the middle of nowhere?
Everyone loves a tree! The lucky recipient (and anyone else) can visit the site and so can their great-grandchildren - their gift tree will still be there, slaving away. It's the gift that goes on giving, Christmas after Christmas, Birthday after Birthday, to the planet and for every creature that's on it.
