Returns/Cancellation policy

We offer an unconditional money back guarantee on Greened House products not listed in the exceptions below. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you are entitled to a full refund.

If you cancel your order before we have dispatched your goods your refund will be immediate.

If your goods have been dispatched then your refund will be net of the original shipping costs. To qualify for the refund you must comply with the following:

- The product must be returned to us within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- The product must be uninstalled and free from damage or misuse by the customer.
- Greened House will not accept responsibility for freight charges on returned goods in either direction, unless the error is ours or the customer is invoking a warranty.
- Goods should be returned via a tracked service and the tracking number should be supplied to Greened House.

- Customers are responsible for returned goods until they reach Greened House.

Exceptions to the money-back guarantee (unless invoking a warranty) are items that are made to order, which include powder coated column radiators, Smith's Hydroflame radiators and Jaga radiators.

Deliveries

You must check deliveries for transit damages. By signing when accepting deliveries you are agreeing that items are received in good order, and if you later find damages it is very difficult for us to claim from the couriers.

• If the courier will not wait then sign and make a note that items were uninspected.
• For items delivered via FedEx you have 24 hours from delivery to notify us of damages. After this time we will be unable to refund you.
• For large deliveries (e.g. radiators) via pallet courier, there is unlikely to be time to inspect the goods - please sign and note 'uninspected', and report any transit damage within 7 days. Damages reported outside this time cannot be refunded.

Availability of products

Greened House may cancel any sale if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Prices

Our site contains a large number of products and a wide range of postage charge combinations. It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed may be incorrectly priced and some of the postage charges may be incorrectly applied. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a product's correct price or the delivery charges are less than our stated prices, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product's correct price or the delivery charge is higher than the price stated on our site, we will at our discretion either contact you for instructions before dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

All prices are subject to change without prior notice. We are under no obligation to provide a product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order confirmation e-mail.

Liability

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include, without limitation, pure economic loss, loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and similar loss), costs, damages, charges or expenses which arise directly or indirectly in connection with the supply of our products to you or your use or resale of our products.

Our total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the supply of our products shall be limited to the price paid for the products.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any of our obligations under a sale that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (a Force Majeure event).

A Force Majeure event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;

Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;

Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;

Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;

Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks;

The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

We will not be liable, beyond the duty to refund in full the price paid for goods, for the failure of any supplier to deliver either to us or to our customers at an agreed time.

We commit ourselves to protecting and respecting your privacy when visiting our website.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, the identity of our data controller shall be available upon enquiry by email.


Information we may collect from you

NB We do not hold any of your financial details – these are transferred to a third party payment gateway, in our case currently PayPal, and never recorded or stored by us.

We may collect and process the following data about you:

    * Any information that you provide by filling in forms on our site.  This includes provided information at the time of registering to use our site, posting material, requesting further services or subscribing to any service offered by us on the site.  We might also request further information and if you should report a problem with our site.

    * We may keep a record of any correspondence if you should contact us.

    * Details of the resources you access and of your visits to our site

    * Details of transactions you may carry out through our site and of the completion of your orders.

IP addresses and cookies

We may collect information about your computer; this is statistical data concerning your browsing actions and does not identify you individually.  This information includes your IP address where available, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report collective information to our advertisers.

Where we store your personal data

Any data that we collect from you may be stored at, and transferred to, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In submitting your personal data, you agree to such a transfer and the storing and processing of this data.  To ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy we will endeavour to take all reasonable necessary steps in protecting your privacy.

We will do our best to protect your personal data, unfortunately, the transmission of information over the internet is not entirely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our sites.  Any transmission of data is at your own risk.


Uses made of the information

We use the information held about you in the following ways:

    * To ensure that the content of our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer.

    * Where you have consented to be contacted, to provide you with the information, products and services requested from us or in the event that we feel will be of interest to you.

    * If we are under a duty to comply with any legal obligation to disclose or share your personal data. To protect the rights, property and safety of our customers or others, or to enforce our terms of use for the site. For the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction this may include exchanging information with other companies and organisations.

From time to time our site may contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates.  If you visit any of these sites please note that they have their own privacy policies and you should check these before submitting any personal data.  We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.

In accordance with the Act you can exercise the right to access any information we hold about you.  Any request may be subject to a fee in order to meet our costs in providing any details of the information we may hold about you.
